During its summer and annual language programs, Villa Aurora seeks to
expand the students' learning experience through varied cultural tours.
To really learn about a culture one must see where and how that culture
lives. To understand an artist one must see where they worked and lived.
To understand the music of a master one must listen to the sounds that
they listened to as they composed.

Visits to the museums of Firenze delve the student into the world
and history of the great Italian masters of art. From the Byzantine
Period to the Contemporary Age, students get a full experience of
the various periods of art and history.
Tours are taken with guides either from the school or from local
museums. |
|
Cultural tours are highly appreciated by the Language students. Many
trips are taken around the region of Toscana (Tuscany), to various
cities including Siena, Lucca, Pisa and San Gimignano. |
