Andrews University is providing the off-campus International Development Program at reduced and affordable tuition rates. Students should arrange a bank transfer to pay for tuition before each session. Alternatively, cash or travelers checks can be brought to the session. Students are responsible to pay for travel costs to and from the venue. Students are responsible for the cost of accommodation and meals during the session. These costs are not part of tuition expenses. Accommodation costs will be paid directly by the student to the institution hosting the intensive session. These costs vary by site and are available by clicking on the site names at the top of this page. Higher student numbers may reduce tuition rates. Therefore, students are encouraged to recruit new students. A $100 recruitment incentive will be given to the recruiter for each new student who joins the program. The cost of core course tuition for each three week intensive is $2,800 per student. |
Concentration tuition is $2,000 per student and is to be paid in four equal installments of $500 per session over four years. Students may be eligible for a scholarship, depending on the number of students attending each session. See chart below. A means test may apply for certain students who will be required to pay full tuition with no scholarship consideration. The criteria for the means test may be obtained from idp@andrews.edu. Beginning with the second session, there will be a $100 advisor fee per session. Further, beginning 12 months after the student's final intensive, $100 will be charged annually through the period the student continues to work on the concentration and research requirements. Dollar amounts quoted are in USD. Cost of Accommodation and MealsThe cost of accommodation and meals for the 2009 session is €34 per night per student. These costs are separate from tuition and are to be paid directly to Villa Aurora.Students can also have room and board arranced for them during their stays.
